Obituary of Carrie Smith
Carrie Smith of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 91.
Born in Sunny Corner, NB she was a daughter of the late Perley W. and Gladys M (Allison) Mullin.
Carrie was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, the Braesiders senior citizens and stepping out 50 plus activity centre.
Survived by daughter, Sharon Lynn (Ian) Gunn of Riverview; son, David A. Smith (Bev) of Moncton; sisters, Villa Atkinson and Dorothy Walsh; sister-in-law, Joyce Mullin; brother-in-law, Elliot Harris; two grandchildren, John Gunn (Kim) and Rob Smith (Cinthia); three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, C. Allen Smith; sisters, Ruby Stewart, Naida Harris and Inez Murphy; brother, Boyd Mullin; brothers-in-law, Robert Atkinson, John Walsh and sister-in-law, Margaret Smith Slingerland.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2-5pm.
A Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastor Gary Barr officiating.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations in Carrie's memory made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
