Obituary of Edna L. Parlee

Edna L. Parlee of Mill Cove, NB and formerly of Moncton, NB passed away at Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove, NB on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 80. Born in Allison, NB she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ella (Copp) Rooney. Edna was a member of Allison Baptist Church. A former employee of T. Eaton Co., Moncton, Edna retired after working a number of years at the YMCA Childcare center. Survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, G. Dana Parlee; brothers, Sheldon Rooney (Cheryl) of Cumberland Bay, NB, and Harris Rooney of Halifax, NS; nieces, Shelly Cormier, Charleen, Darcie and nephew, Darren. Due to current restrictions a private family burial will take place with the funeral service to be held at a later date. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Edna’s memory made to the Cancer Society, Alzheimers Society or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
