Obituary of Michael Anthony Gaidamasciuk
Sadly the family of Mike announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020. Beloved husband of Tanya Retson, he was 52 years old. Sadly, he will be missed by his mother, Joyce Gaidamasciuk of Riverview; by his sister Cindy Campbell of Riverview, as well as his nephew Michael (Tiffany) of Hampton, NB and their children Tyler, Serenity and Avett. Fondly, he will be remembered by Tanya’s family, Tessa Pearson, Kenny & Kaye Retson, Rollande DesLauries, Shawn Retson, Darren Retson, James Retson and Daniel DesLauries. Loving step-father of Brittany Lamb and Dan Billingsley. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Phoenix and Scarlett.
Predeceased by his father, Tony Gaidamascuik in 2011.
Mike had a passion for life and was greatly respected for his commitment to his adopted city of North Bay citizens. A Celebration of Life for Mike was held at the Ramada Hotel (201 Pinewood Park Drive) North Bay, ON. on Friday, September 11th from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. Friends are invited to join Tanya to share condolences and hopefully share their unforgettable memories of Mike. Due to COVID restriction, everyone must wear a mask, and Social Distancing must be respected.
If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetic Association, or the North Bay & District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
A Private family interment will take place in the Gaidamasciuk family lot at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton.
