Obituary of Joyce Agnes Casey
Joyce Casey, 89, of Moncton, NB; passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Born in St. Stephen, NB., she was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Pearl I. (Hatt) McHugh. Joyce was a retired florist with Flower World in Moncton.
Joyce was always at her happiest spending her summers at the family cottage at Lake Utopia, playing cards with her friends, watching her grandchildren Swim and spending countless hours chatting on the deck with lifelong friends. Those who knew her always finished a visit feeling loved and full.
A loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her, she will be lovingly remembered by her, children, Stephen and Andrew Casey both of Moncton and Stephanie of Bridgewater, NS; her adoring four grand-daughters, Jennifer (Tony), Charlene (Jason), Casey (Steve) and Emma; by her two great grandsons, Nathan and Harwood; one great-great grand daughter Ariella; by her siblings Bud, Francis, Janet and Jo-Anne; also by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John M. Casey in 1983 and by a sister Jeanne and her brother James.
A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview.
Interment will be in Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery.
