Obituary of Kenneth "Ken" Cail Little

Ken Little of Moncton; passed away with his family at his side at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Born in Waltham MA. and raised in Berry Mills, NB., he was the son of the late Ernie and Grace (Cail) Little. Ken started his career as a manufactures agent with Sklar Pepplar. In the 1970's he along with Rocky Stone opened the Little Rock Beverage Room, one of Moncton's largest and most popular food and drink establishments. As an avid sportsman, Ken curled out of the Beausejour Curling Club and he along with his team mates represented New Brunswick at the Canadian Curling Briar in Saskatoon in 1965. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club. Ken was also on the advisory board of the AHL Moncton Hawks Hockey Club, as well as a life member of the MFA (Moncton Football Association). He played for the Sussex Jr. Rangers who as a team were recently inducted to the Greater Sussex Sports Wall of Fame. Ken was a lifetime member of the Elks Club (Lodge 229 ) where he spent a majority of his time playing cards, playing pranks and having laughs with his friends and brothers enjoying his rum and coke. He lived his life some can only dream of doing, the way he wanted too everyday and it was a great life. We will miss his sense of humour, his love of family with his great stories and his excellent cooking. He is survived his four children, Beverley "Bev" Little, Robert "Bob" (Line) Little, Karen (Roland) Robichaud and Patricia "Patti" (Gene) Mitton of Riverview; grandchildren Jeremy and Matthew Mitton, Mary and Peter Robichaud also by his loving sister Barbara McGregor and by sisters in law, Marilyn Lane and Patricia Lane. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years Eileen Marie (Lane) Little in 2007 and by a sister Lois Greco. In Honouring Ken's wishes there will be no funeral or visitation. A private Family Celebration will be held at a later date. "If you wish to honour Ken, please go to your favorite establishment and raise a glass." Donations made in Ken's memory made to the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to your local Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
