Obituary of William F. "Bill" Morano

William F. "Bill" Morano, 82, of Riverview, NB; passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Monday, April 19, 2021. Born in South River, ON; he was the son of the late Joseph and Violet Morano. Bill was a former controller of Owasco Volkswagen in Whitby, ON and owner of Long's Fundy Quik Mart and the Pine Glen Lounge on Pine Glen Rd. Riverview and ran Morano Accounting Services. He attended Holy Family Parish in Moncton and Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Sheila Morano, by several nieces and nephews from Toronto and by a sister in law May and her husband Lawrence. Bill was the surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Frank and Joe Morano and by seven his sisters Margaret, Patsy, Ruth, Dorothy, Lillian, Jen and Violet. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. with visitation on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm The Funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview, on Thursday, April 22 , 2021 at 11:00am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Visitation will be held in Campbellton, NB on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Savoie Funeral Home, 47 Alexander St. (506)753-7200 Interment will be in Campbellton Rural Cemetery at a later date.
