To Shelley, Sandra, Robert and the whole Family: My sincere condolences. Losing Pat is a loss for everyone. He was real good man. When the time came, Pat left quick, but he did a lot of neat things in his life. Among the things I know about, I always thought it was cool that he, and all the boys descended from Fred and Joan, built and raced stock cars. So involved that he even owned and operated Riverglade Speedway for a few years. I thought that was pretty neat. He offered a few times to take me up flying but never took him up on it. Should have. Always enjoyed talking to Pat whenever there was a family gathering, usually about cars, bikes and mechanical stuff in general, but we talked family too. I liked how he usually came wearing work pants...and why not?! I don't think I ever thanked Pat enough for giving me my first real job, working at his bike shop in Weldon. I learned a lot about British bikes and gained an appreciation for the simplicity of them. I was just a 16 year old kid, but he always treated me like I might know something, always asking me what I thought about doing things this way or that way (he knew which way he was going to do it, he was just quizzing me, haha). Pat was a special guy. Going to miss him. John

To Shelley and family. We are so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Carl, Katie and I were reminiscing about the kitten Pat gave us. We called him the Turtle Creek cat. Best cat the kids ever had. Thinking of you at this time. Ruth, Carl and Katie MacLean

Robert and Sandra, I remember Patrick as the younger brother in your Dad's blacksmith shop as we were about some project. Even then he as always cheerful and liked to be around his older brother. I want to express my sympathy at his passing and pray that God's peace and comfort will be with you and his whole family. Bob

Dear Shelly and Family, My deepest sympathy for your loss. Heather, and I heard a lot about Pat, when we shared an apartment. I think the love story never ended! It seems Pat had a life “well lived”. May you find comfort in such good memories! Sincerely, Debbie
