Obituary of Gary G. Bulmer

Gary G. Bulmer, 78, of Riverview passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 31, 2021. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Gordon J. and Margaret A (Edgett) Bulmer. Gary was retired from Federal Government HRDC in Moncton after which he drove cars for the Moncton auction and then was employed as a self-contractor with the Town of Riverview as a crossing guard, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. His passion in life was music and he was especially proud of his CD of which he provided the drumming and vocals. He was a current member of the "Spuds of Dixieland" a Dixieland Band from Moncton consisting of all seasoned musicians including,Jamie Colpits,Charlie Munroe and Maurice Flemming. Gary also played drums in a number of other bands over the years, playing many genres including Big band, Jazz, and his favorite rock and roll. He is survived by his two sisters Sheila (Miles) Manak of Dartmouth, NS and Dianne (Bryan) Haley of Montague, PEI, as well as Nephew Mike Manak (Liz) & their son Max,SydneyAustralia,Nieces Beverly Carson(Shane), & their daughters,Julie & Stephanie of Dartmouth and Lori Haley(Cecil), New Haven, PE. He was particularly close to his cousins Sharon and Alvin who frequently went out to lunch together having a few laughs and reminiscing about family, and also keeping in touch with his life long friend Donnie Randall. Honouring Gary's wishes cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions a graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton at a later date.
