Sincerest condolences to all of Jims family. Jim was a pillar of the community, Harrisville/Lakeville. Always with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He was a friend to all and brightened up a room (or garage)when he walked in. Always remember a particular weekend in Rexton when he took us out on his boat and waterskiing. He will surely be missed.

So very sorry to hear of Jims passing. He was a good friend of my father, Richard Chapman, who passed away in 2018 and I remember Jim coming to the visitation in Salisbury. Dad was a welder and he welded a lot of trailer hitches that your father would send when they purchased a trailer. A lovely man your father was and I know you will sorely miss him but it is nice to have all the good memories! I think Jim and Betty and my parents, Richard and Aldana went to Florida one year together! Please accept our families condolences. Sandra Chapman, Dean (Paulette) Chapman and Linda (Kevin) Hatt.

We were sad to hear this news today. Jim and Betty were always part of many family gatherings and Jim carried that on after her passing. As stated, you just never knew when he would arrive at your doorstep or in what vehicle ! Will always cherish so many memories of times together. Jack, Nancy Steele and family

Jim was a kind and gentle friend to us. Without him & Betty his wife, we would not have our beautiful cottage . He sold it to us with trust, we enjoyed many nights of music with him and Betty playing his accordion ,which he played very well. He cherished all his family and always spoke about them proudly. We will miss him. RIP our friend. Ray & Marianne Collette. Our prayers and thoughts are with his loving family .
