Obituary of G. Dana Parlee
Dana Parlee, age 91 , of Mill Cove, NB and formerly of McLaughlin Rd. Moncton; passed away peacefully at Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove, NB on Monday, January 31, 2022. Born in Campbellton, NB; he was the son of the late G.Dana Sr. and Gladys B. (Duncan) Parlee.
He was a longtime member of The Journey Church - Allison Campus.
Mr. Parlee retired from S.M.T. Eastern after 37 years service. He was a recipient of the S.M.T. Eastern award for 2 million miles accident free.
He is survived by his brother, James Chipman Parlee (Alberta) of Burlington, ON. and is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Edna L. (Rooney) Parlee in 2020 and by his sister, Marion Alma Friars.
Celebration of Life services for G. Dana and Edna L. Parlee will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 1:30pm with Rev. David Morehouse officiating
Interment Fairhaven Memorial Gardens next to his wife Edna.

Edna L. Parlee of Mill Cove, NB and formerly of Moncton, NB passed away at Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove, NB on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 80. Born in Allison, NB she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ella (Copp) Rooney.
Edna was a member of Allison Baptist Church / Journey Church Allison Campus.
A former employee of T. Eaton Co., Moncton, Edna retired after working a number of years at the YMCA Childcare center.
She was survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, G. Dana Parlee who passed away January 31, 2022; brothers, Sheldon Rooney (Cheryl) of Cumberland Bay, NB, and Harris Rooney of Halifax, NS; nieces, Shelly Cormier, Charleen, Darcie and nephew, Darren.
Interment was at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Edna’s memory made to the Cancer Society, Alzheimers Society or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
