Raymond Jean-Guy Pichette Obituary

Raymond Jean-Guy Pichette of Moncton, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 74. Born in Timmins, ON he was a son of the late Roland and Dolores Pichette.


Ray loved the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing with his sons. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 36, he lived every day after without complaint despite the challenges he faced. When unable to partake in physical activities he found purpose and pride in volunteering with the Parkinson’s Support Group and the Lions Club. For those fortunate enough to have known him, Ray will be remembered as a man of quiet strength, humor, and an unfaltering smile.


Survived by his sons, Matthew Pichette of Moncton and John Pichette of Hopewell Cape, NB; sisters, Lorraine Leach (Mike) of Timmins, ON, Linda Rodrigue (Claude) of Owen Sound, ON, Louise Lauzon of Windsor, ON, Nathalie Pichette of Orangeville, ON and brother, Roly Jr. of Timmins, ON.


In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by a sister, Diane Pichette and by the mother of his children, Mary Carpenter.


A Celebration of Life will be held at the Riverview Lion's Club, 701 Coverdale Rd, Riverview on July 8th at 4:30pm.


Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to the Riverview Lion's Club would be appreciated by the family.
