Obituary of Roy Steven Kelly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Steven Kelly, who left us peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Moncton, New Brunswick. Born in 1943, Roy lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by the people he loved.

Roy was the beloved husband of Lois Jean Kelly and a devoted father to Christine, Stephen, and Tammy. He was a proud grandfather to Danny and Kristina, Emily, Devon, Kellie and Ajay, Megan and Josh, Aaron, Brandon, Curtis and Lyle and cherished his time with his many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. 

Roy was the youngest of 16 siblings and was preceded in death by his 15 brothers and sisters. His love for family extended across generations and he held each one of his loved ones close to his heart. 

Roy was known for his strong work ethic and his unwavering dedication to those around him. With a heart full of kindness and a sense of humor that could light up any room, Roy was truly the life of the party. His warmth, laughter, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.

A service to honour Roy’s life will be held in Cambridge, Ontario with details to be confirmed at a later date.
