Obituary of Lloyd Ernest Martin

Lloyd Martin of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John S. and Hilda Mae (Spencer) Martin.

Lloyd was the proud founder and President of Martin Enterprises Ltd., a company he built from the ground up in the 1970's. Through unwavering dedication and hard work, he transformed it into a thriving business specializing in commercial real estate leasing. Martin Enterprises was more than just a business to Lloyd -it was a reflection of his vision, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit, and he took immense pride in its success as a lasting part of his legacy. 

Outside of Lloyd's professional achievements, he found joy in hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and singing. However, what he cherished most was the time spent with his family and friends, especially his three boys, who were the center of his world. 

Lloyd is survived by his sons, Nicholas Martin (Tammy Steeves) of Dundas, Scott Dunfield (Katie Mowbray) of Pine Glen, and Chad Martin (Helene LePennac) of Irishtown; grandchildren, Zoey Martin, Lucas Scott, and Noë Ledrux.

Besides his parents, John and Hilda, Lloyd was predeceased by his brother, Jim Martin, as well as an infant sister.

A funeral service will be held at Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (506-857-9544) Riverview, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm. There will be a reception following the service. Viewing and visitation will be held at the funeral home starting at 12:00 pm until time of service.
