Obituary of Greg Wilson
Greg Wilson of Moncton, NB passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the age of 58 years. Born in Weston, ON the son of Vi Briggs and the late Cecil Wilson.
Greg loved to travel the world and meet friends in new places. All that knew and loved Greg were well aware that he was not a man to hold back anything on his mind. Greg loved to joke and tell stories in order to make anyone laugh, he knew how to relay a joke. He loved to spend time with friends and family, was very kind and generous, and showed compassion and respect to everyone he ever met. His favorite phrase was, “Quit your growlin, you sound like an old bear”. Greg cherished his life long friends, he had many.
Survived by his husband, Bryan of Moncton, NB; mom, Vi Briggs of Steeves Mountain, NB; sisters, Kim Campbell (Dave) of Upper Gagetown, NB, Tracey Douglas (Ian) of Alma, NB; step-brothers, David Briggs (Sherry) of Hillsborough, NB, Jason Briggs (Trudy) of Stilesville, NB; and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, Cecil Wilson he was predeceased by his step-father, Lea Briggs.
At Greg’s request, cremation has taken place and there will not be any public services held.
Donations in Greg’s memory may be made to the Diabetic Association of Canada.
