Obituary of Norma "Jackie" V. Johnson

Norma Johnson, formerly of Riverview, NB; passed away peacefully at Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the age of 81 years. It was in 1970 that she and husband Anthony "Tony" with their three children and dogs in tow, moved to Canada to begin a new adventure in their lives. Norma was a light-hearted, happy and joyful woman, who loved her family and enjoyed walking, often with her husband and woofers. She loved nature and all its beauty, as seen by her other activities like camping "roughing it smoothly" in their recreational trailer, paddling a scenic river, gardening, and cycling/tennis in her earlier years. A loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Christine Dawson (David); her two sons, Martin Johnson (Monique) and Steve Johnson (Carole); by her adoring grandchildren, Eric, Sara, Brandy, Sierra, Antonio, Danica, Shane, Stephen, Gillian, and Regan; her eight great-grandchildren; also sadly missed by her family in the UK, sister Yvonne Stocks and brother Graham Howard (Jean); as well as her niece Caroline and nephew Chris. Besides her parents, Norma was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Tony" Johnson in 2010 Honouring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Moncton on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma's memory made to your local SPCA, would be appreciated by her family.
