Joan Gloria Sawyer 1938-2024

Joan Sawyer, 86, of Riverview, NB passed away peacefully at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Born in Moncton, Joan was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Randall) Doige.  Joan was a dedicated member of the Riverview Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years and enjoyed teaching others the Bible’s message of hope.  She also enjoyed many years working as an office administration specialist within the Insurance Industry.

Joan is survived by her son Darrell Doige of Montreal, PQ, her sister-in-law, and several nieces who live in different parts of Canada

Besides her parents Henry and Elizabeth, Joan was predeceased by her husband, Ulysse Sawyer; brothers, Charlie Doige, Edward Doige, and Henry Doige.

At her request there will be no services held.
