Obituary of Bernice Egers

Bernice Egers of Miramichi, NB and formerly of Moncton, NB passed away at her residence on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the age of 85 years. Born in Miramichi a daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (McEvoy) Duthie.

Bernice was employed with Domtar, Moncton with over 30 years of employment.

Survived by her sister-in-law, Vera Duthie; son-in-law Robert Bannister (Lynn); grandchildren, Clayton (Stephanie) and Kyle Bannister (Justine); great grandchildren; Archer, Cassy, Carter, Khloe, Keagan, Jax, Jade and Jody Ann; also by extended family member, Chrissy Beach.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Marven Egers; daughter, Jodey Bannister; sister, Opal Williamson, Edwina MacDonald and Joan King; brother, Clayton Duthie.

A graveside service will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jim Eagles officiating.
