Obituary of Lloyd R. Mallory

Lloyd Richard Mallory, of Cocagne, NB passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.               

Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Lloyd Everett and Dorothy Marie (Kenney) Mallory.

Lloyd along with his wife of 51 years, Janet (Tuttle) owned and operated Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home and the Riverview Funeral Home. Lloyd was a member of the Masonic Temple Acacia Lodge #49, a member of the BPOE (Elks Lodge), a member of the Kiwanis Club, Moncton, a member of the Antique Car Club, Moncton, Past President of the MCA (Moncton Curling Association), a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member and Past President of the NB Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association, Past President of the Board for Registration of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, a member of the Canadian Independently Owned Funeral Homes and Funeral Directors group. Lloyd enjoyed wood working, attending antique car shows, meeting people from all over the world through the HAM Radio Club, travelling to Florida in the winter, and above all Lloyd enjoyed being home on the Cocagne Bay, or at his camp in Sussex, NB enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

Lloyd was survived by his daughters, Lynn Mallory of Cocagne, and Karen Mallory of Fredericton; sister, Susan Morrison (Paul) of Fredericton; brother, Brian Mallory (Patsy) of Sussex; grandchildren, Rob Boone of Fredericton, Kate Melanson (Brandon) of Riverview; great grandchildren Grace Melanson and Myles Melanson; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Janet D. (Tuttle) Mallory (2012); sons Scott Mallory, and Stephen Mallory; brother, Ron Mallory; niece Lori Walsh.

Visitation will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (506-857-9544), Riverview on Saturday, June 29, 2024 between the hours 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel, on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Theriault and the Nurses and staff of 5100 at the Moncton Hospital and to all the staff and residents of Canterbury Hall Parkland Riverview.
