Obituary of Jean Marie Anderson

Jean Marie Anderson - nee Boudreau of Moncton, passed away following a period of declining health, at her residence - Pavillon Landry, Faubourg du Mascaret on Saturday, October 29th at the age of 92. Born in Stellarton, NS she was the eldest daughter of the late William & Cecilia (Partner) Boudreau. In 1950, following a brief career at Woolworth's she married Earl and became a homemaker. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She is survived by her children, Jackie McDonald of Moncton, David (Lorraine) Anderson of Nepean, ON, and Rhonda (Greg) Leslie of Moncton, son in law Murray Lewis and daughter in law Iris Anderson. Grandchildren, Shawlene (Michael), Lisa (Nick), Cindy (Weldon), Jonathan (Nichole), Daryl (Katherine) and Crystal (Randy), 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, sisters Marg Henderson of Stellarton, NS and Phyllis Deptuck of Hamilton, ON many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Prior to her failing health, Jean enjoyed travelling & camping. She was a kind and generous woman who would help anyone in need. She was also an excellent quilter and knitter. Anyone that knew her knew she loved to play bingo. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry Earl (2014), her daughter Deborah Lewis (2006), her son Barry Anderson (2011) and two infant sons, Ronald and Shawn. Also, two sisters, Eleanor Murphy, Marjorie Humphrey and one brother Billy Boudreau. Son-In-Law, Dr. Bruce McDonald (2014). At this time, the family would like to thank Dr. Richard, the nurses and many staff members at Pavillon Landry for their excellent care. They made sure Mom was happy and content and well looked after. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a reception following the service. The burial will take place at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
