My deepest sympathy to Carol’s Family on her passing. I attended MHS and graduated with Carol in 1967. I have a wonderful memory of Carol and Henry “ dancing the night away” at a high school reunion. She will be remembered at our next gathering—-

Gayle and Carol's Family - My most sincere condolences in your loss. I have fond memories of playing hide and seek, red rover, having variety shows in the backyard walks to the canteen at Parlee, not to forget jumping at the wharf. Where did the years go? I so remember hiding from the Wride boys in your backyard shed. I met your Mom as soon as we moved into the lot on 108 Second with our trailer and the next summer started to build a cottage. Your Mom was always so kind and we soon became fast friends. Life has moved on year by year, but most summers Carl would just walk bye for a chat with John and I. Just to remember the old days. She touched many lives, no matter what life seemed to deal her she coped with her deep faith and positive attitude. I hold you in my thoughts and prayers, she will never be forgotten. Hugs, Debby Stuart (

My dear cousin Carol. Your bright light has dimmed but it will glow forever. I'm thinking about you. And I'm thinking about us. And I'm thinking about all our long ago shenanigans. And I can hear your laugh clear as a bell. It's a sound that has always been special to me, as have you. We may not have seen much of each other in recent years but the bond is there nonetheless. We shared some dandy memories that I promise to hold onto. And if anybody asks, I'm gonna tell! Well, maybe not EVERY thing.
I hope you are lighting up Heaven & if there's a way, I expect to hear from you.
Love from Linda

Mark & I were grieved to hear about Carol’s onset of symptoms as she wrote to tell us of them while in hospital. We were shocked at how quickly her death occurred. However, it was a blessing to know she was cared for & supported by her beloved family. Her zeal for the Lord, her family, & ministry in the church & with Ruth & Naomi will be always in our memories. May the Lord sustain you & surround you at this time. “Well done, good & faithful servant” . Love, Mark & Maisie Smith
