Obituary of Nora Arabella Henderson

Nora A. Henderson, 95, of Moncton, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Monday, November 14, 2022. Born in Charlie Lake, NB, Nora was the daughter of the late Burns and Edna (Grant) Way. She was a 60-year member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church and loved her time spent with the Seniors and Bible Study Groups. Nora loved life and experienced three careers during her life, as a Teacher, a Registered Nursing Assistant and as owner-operator of Nora's Beauty Parlor. However her greatest love was family gatherings and making precious memories with her grandchildren and her family. She loved being able to get "up home" as often as she could often stopping in a field of daisies on the way home. Left with fond memories are her daughter Wanda (Robert) Killam; stepchildren Patricia Finnie, Miriam McElwain and Laurel Henderson; her loving grandchildren, great-grand- and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Winona Ritchie and Mabel Shaw; one brother, Roger (Terri) Way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband James Henderson, 1994, son Alfred Henderson, 1992, and by her 10 siblings, Hazel Price, Ethel Morelli, Erma Grosse, Della Leighton, Faith Christie, Glenna Oxner, Jasper, Seth, Cole and Meredith Way. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Way and Pastor Laurel Buckingham officiating. A time to share stories and memories will follow immediately after the funeral service in Tuttles' reception room. Interment will be in Hillman Cemetery, Ritchie Rd, Ritchie, NB on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
