Obituary of Pamela Marie Altenburg

Pamela Marie Altenburg passed away at her residence in Rosevale on November 13, 2023 at the age of 75.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, USA she lived there until 2008 when she retired from Walgreens and moved to Canada with her beloved city cat Sweetie Pie to live a life in the Albert County countryside with her partner Ajo for the next 15 years.

She introduced herself to everyone she met as "Hi I'm Pam from Chicago, nice to meet you". She was an avid movie buff and spent many hours a day at her computer downloading movies and tv shows and chatting with her lady friends. She loved cats, ferrets, hummingbirds, angels and the colour blue. She hated blackflies!

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family in the USA. Survived by partner Arie Wissink and his family in NB, NL, BC and the Netherlands.

No funeral service or visitation by Pam's request. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. If you wish to make a donation in her memory she suggested the American Ferret Association or your local SPCA.

Arrangments have been entrusted to Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB.
