Douglas C. Bishop of Riverview, NB passed away at his cottage in Pointe-du-Chene, NB on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the age of 71. Born in Moncton a son of the late Clarence and Mary Louisa (Taylor) Bishop.

Doug was a locomotive engineer with CNR for 34 years. He loved spending time at his cottage with the love of his life and mother of his three children, Kathleen, over the summer months. He enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren as well and collecting coins.

We will miss you. 

Survived by his wife, Kathleen Roth; daughter, Amber-Lee Gautreau (Andre) of Riverview; sons, Nicholas Bishop of Ottawa, Christopher Bishop of Riverview; sister, Carolanne Banks (Brad) of ON; brothers, Brian Bishop (Pat) of AB, Bruce Bishop of Moncton; grandchildren, Taevin, Lex and Audrey.

In honor of Douglas there will not be any public services held.

Donations in memory of Douglas may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
