Obituary of Wanda Elizabeth Trites

Wanda E. Trites, 92, of Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully within the comforts of her home on Saturday, September 2, 2023.  Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Hicks) Kelly. 

 

Wanda was a member of New Hope Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Wanda will be sadly missed by her loving children, Michael Trites (Linda), Daniel Trites (Louise), Janet Williston, daughter-in-law Susan Trites, Rodney Trites (Teri), Karen Eagles (Stephen), Stephen Trites (Anne-Marie) and Patti Bergman (Bruce); 28 cherished grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

 

In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Trites; infant son, Donald; son, Robert Trites; son-in-law Stephen Williston; sisters, Olive Calder, Pat Munro and Ruth Gudgeon; brothers, Sterling Kelly and Richard Kelly.

 

Visitation for relatives and friends will take place at New Hope Community Church, 47529 Homestead Road, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A service to celebrate and honour Wanda’s life will be held from New Hope Community Church on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Reception to follow the service. Interment to be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

 

Wanda’s arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre (506-857-9544).
