Jean Taylor of Riverview passed away peacefully at Monarch Hall, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in her 102nd year.

Born in Steeves Settlement, NB on September 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Bertha (Goddard) Rogers.

Jean received her teaching degree from the University of Moncton and spent many years as a school principal and supervisor for all Moncton schools. She was a member of the NB Probus Club, a member of the retired teachers' association (NBTA) and a proud member of the University of Moncton Alumni.  Jean and her husband were avid travellers and enjoyed entertaining at their camp in the Havelock area that they named the "Wood Chance” where great times were held with family and friends. She was an avid golfer, dancer and bridge player.

She is survived by her step daughters, Linda Blais (Tom) of BC, Kathy Taylor (Anita) of ON; step sons, Rod Taylor (Mary) and Gary Taylor (Yamina) both of ON; brother- in- law, Weldon Lewis of Riverview; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Albert Lewis in 1979; second husband, Harry Taylor in 2017; brother, Curtis Rogers; sister-in-law, Tressa Lewis.

A graveside service will be held at Steeves Settlement Cemetery.
