Obituary of Wilma A. Bradley

Bradley, Wilma Aileen (Robinson). Our dear mother and grandmother died with her family at her side, Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton. Born December 10, 1915 in New Carlisle, PQ, she was the 8th of 11 daughters born to Benjamin and Mae (Thompson) Robinson. She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Bob) LeBlanc of Moncton; her son Jim (Gloria) Bradley of Moncton; daughter-in-law Gloria Bradley of Riverview; and by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" (1999), son Brian (2004), daughter-in-law Bonnie (1994) and by her ten sisters. Fondly known as "Wil" or "Billy", Wilma grew up in New Carlisle, and also lived in Campbellton before moving to Moncton in 1941. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Riverview. In addition to raising her family, Wilma acted as caregiver for many years to her mother, and to elders in their homes. Wilma often said her greatest joy was her family. She gave her grandchildren wonderful memories of summer days, at the cottage with Gram. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm. Parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the Funeral Home, Sunday, January 13 at 3:30pm. A private family service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 14, 2008 with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Generator Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
