Obituary of Yvonne M. Surette

Yvonne M. Surette, 90, McSweeney Ave and formerly of Lefurgey Ave. Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Born in Moncton on December 2, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John and Leonie (Cormier) Bourgeois. She was formerly employed with Bell-Tone Hearing Aids and retired after ten years service. She was a member of Notre Dame de Grace Parish and was a member of the Golden Age Club. Yvonne was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch # 6. Left with fond memories are her daughter Pauline LeBlanc (Blair) of Moncton; three sons John Surette (Janet) of Bathurst, NB; Robert Surette of Montreal PQ; and Reginald Surette of Moncton; her loving grandchildren Danny (Karen) and Brenda Lee Cormier (Matthieu), two great grandchildren Ashley and Brody; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her former husband Clarence Surette, a great grandson Brandon; two brothers Laurie and Jack and also by infant brothers and sisters. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Friday February 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Grace on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 am with Fr. Jean Guy Dallaire officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
