Obituary of Vivian Mildred Worden

Vivian M. Worden, K. E. Spencer Home and formerly of 21 Crystal Dr. Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital in Moncton on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the age of 92. Born in Allison, NB on December 6, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Reita (Lutes) Rooney. She was a member of The Gunningsville United Baptist Church and a former member of Allison Baptist Church, where she was a member for many years of the choir, a Sunday School Teacher, The WMS and she was actively involved in many other activities within the church. While living in Riverview, Vivian was a member of The Coverdale Senior Citizens Association. She was a retired employee of the T. Eaton Co. having worked in the Ladies Sports Wear Department. She is survived by her children Clifford Worden and his wife Sheila of Pictou, NS; Clyde Worden and his wife Marcia of Advocate, NS; and Karen Bevan and her husband Noel of St. Augustus, PEI; her sister Erna Johnson and husband Raymond of Moncton; her grandchildren Dale, Jim and Barry, Scott, Bruce, Michelle, Clifford, Tracy, Terra, Arnold and Carolyn; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Clifford Worden, a step-daughter, Doris Hoar (Gerald) and a brother Norman Rooney. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Saturday, October 7, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Interment will be in Boundry Creek Cemetery. Donations in Vivian's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, to the Generator Fund Spencer Memorial Home or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
