Obituary of Vernon McCluskey

Vernon McCluskey 49, of Moncton, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 12, 2010. Born in Edmunston, NB on October 23, 1960, he was the son of the late Vernon McCluskey and the late Aurore (Ouellet) McCluskey. Vernon was formerly employee with CN Hotel Beausejour Food Service. He was a volunteer which he enjoyed very much with the Karing Kitchen for several years. He was an avid sportsman and was a fan of all sports, his other interests were reading, watching documentaries and writing. Vernon will be best remembered for his terrific sense of humour and his love of his family. He will be deeply missed by his five sisters Louisa McCluskey of Saskatchewan, Helena Lewis (Greg) of Hillsborough, Barbara Stafford (Fred) of Winnipeg, Theresa Tubb (Greg) of Riverview and Rose Marie Cheesman (Phil) of Ottawa; his two brothers Richard McCluskey (the late Lynn) of Cold Lake, AB. and Jeffrey McCluskey (Darlene) of Moncton; his aunt Noella Phinney of Dieppe, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Vernon McCluskey (2001) and Aurore (Ouellet) (1995), he was also predeceased by his brother Gregory McCluskey in 1994. At Vernon's request a private family celebration of his life and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vernon's memory made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or to the Karing Kitchen, Alma St. Moncton would be appreciated by his family.
