Obituary of Theresa Meunier

Theresa Meunier, 80, of Moncton, passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, June 27, 2008. Born in Moncton, NB; she was the daughter of the late Thaddee and Emma (Gallant) LeBlanc. She worked at Eatons on Foundry Street for over 30 years and attended Notre Dame de Paix Parish. Theresa was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sunny Brae Branch #54; and was a member of the Air Force Vets. She was very active with many organizations as a volunteer canvasser. She is survived by four daughters Rita (Robert) DesRoches of Moncton, Tina (Maurice) Tucker of BC, Diane (Scott) Foster of Ottawa and Roberta (Ricky) Murray of Moncton; one son Rick (Pam) Meunier of Moncton; step son Ray Hiltz of Montreal; by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Corinne Savoie, Sis Nielsen, Diane LeBlanc all of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Alex Meunier, brothers Ned, Edgar, Leonard and Henry LeBlanc and by a sisters Geraldine Gauvin, Geneva Gallant. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Monday, June 30, 2008 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 10:30am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB In Lieu of flowers donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
