Obituary of Reta Mary Goguen

Reta M. Goguen, 74, of Moncton, passed away following a brief illness at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Born in Moncton, on July 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Cormier) Arsenault. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Parish in Moncton. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Reta was a women of strong faith, she was also a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her children Randall (Catherine) of Kentucky, Paula Goguen (Dale) and Troy (Glenda) Goguen all of Moncton, grandchildren Tony and Trevor; three great grandchildren; siblings Clarence (Diane) Arsenault of Riverview, Freda Arsenault, Jeanine Williams and Alfred "Guy" (Lillian) Arsenault of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Paul R. Goguen in March 2009, and a son Derek B. Goguen in 1997 and a sister Jeanette Wilson. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Botsford St. Moncton on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 3:00 pm with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Reta’s made to the charity of donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
