Obituary of Raymond Allen Ferguson

Raymond Allen Ferguson, age 76 years of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on September 19th, 1932, he was the son of the late Seymoure and Jennie (Ward) Ferguson. Raymond attended the Moncton Salvation Army Community Church. He was employed with CPR telegraphs in Amherst before moving to Moncton in 1955 where he was employed with General Dairies and later Baxter Foods, retiring in 1994. He loved collecting die cast cars and spending time with his grandchildren, He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (nee Roberts); daughters Deborah Vautour (Jean Paul) of Lakeville, West Co, Wendy Ferguson (Danny Cail) and Cathy LeBlanc (Pierre) all of Moncton; sons Robert Ferguson of Moncton, Gerald "Gerry" Ferguson (Joy) of Upper Coverdale and David Ferguson (Holly) of Harvey; grandchildren Jennifer Klen (Robert Durdle), Jason Vautour (Sherry), Brendan LeBlanc and Nicholas LeBlanc; great granddaughter Jemma Vautour; brother Seymoure Ferguson Jr. and sister Shirley Ferguson both of Amherst, NS; also by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Jennie, Hazel and Maude; brothers Reginald and Fred. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton, NB on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Lutz St. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 1:00pm with Major Julie March officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery Donations in memory of Raymond made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
