Obituary of Rosalie "Toupie" O'Shea

Rosalie "Toupie" O'Shea, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital following a battle with cancer on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the age of 83. Born in Amherst, NS; she was the daughter of the late Jude and Rosanna (St. Peter) LeBlanc. Toupie was a homemaker and an avid bingo player, she enjoyed socializing with her many friends at various bingo's. A loving and caring wife, mother, sister and aunt, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years William; her daughter Katherine of Moncton, son James of Campbellton, sister Elsie Amon of Springhill, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth "Liz" Gould, Angie Creed and Eve LeBlanc all of Amherst; brothers William "Pee Wee" of Medway, Ma; Clarence "Jude" and Clifford LeBlanc in infancy both of Amherst. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 10:00am until 10:45 am. The funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 11:00 am with Father Denis Belliveau officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Donations in Toupie's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
