Obituary of Peter S. Jensen

Peter Jensen, age 80 years, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, January 24th, 2009. Born in New Denmark, NB on March 21st, 1928, he was the son of the late Thorvald and Anna (Skaftved) Jensen. He is survived by his daughters Linda (Mike) Moran of Rusticoville, PE and Joanne (Glen) Douthwright of Moncton; sons Karl (Jean) Jensen of Salisbury, Jens (Brenda) Jensen of Riverview and Robert Jensen of Moncton; sister Rita Boyd of Moncton; brothers Berg Jensen and Edmund Jensen (Lois) both of Moncton, as well as nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Predeceased by his wife Ann in 2000, brother John Jensen, sister in law Audrey Jensen and brother in law Gordon Boyd. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 at 1:00pm from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in FairHaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Peter made to the Jordan Lifecare Foundation or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by his family.
