Obituary of Paul Katzel

Paul Katzel, 64, of Turtle Creek, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 26, 2009. Born in Vaughan, Saskatchewan; he was the son of the late Robert and Marie Isabel (Katzel) Koabel. Paul was a longtime Construction Worker and Mechanic. He will be best remembered working in his garage, his Tim Horton's runs, RC Car Racing and making and flying remote model airplanes. He will also be remembered from his early years as a dedicated hunter and fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Ashley Katzel (Paul) and Tracey Katzel (Shawn); his adoring grandchildren Zoe, Camden, Xander and Little Miss Grace; his former wife and loving friend Jan; his sisters Sylvia and Linda of Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews and lastly his 4 legged friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Helen. The Memorial Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jim Harrison officiating. Donations in memory of Paul can be made to your local SPCA.
