Obituary of Orva Mae Mitchell

Orva Mae Mitchell, of Riverview,NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday August 6, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Born in Winnipeg, MA on August 1, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mildred C. (Noble) Keep. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Ellen (Kim) Smith with whom she resided, and Dennise (John) Matheson of Australia; son John (Chantel) Parkes of Toronto; grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, Colleen, Jessica, Dennis, Alexandra, Sara, Taylor, and Gabriella; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; step daughters Peggy (Archie) Arkinson of Montreal; step son Ted (Jone) Mitchell of Halifax; step son in law Gary Coulter of Mount Brydges ON; step grandchildren Gail, Pam, Heather, Lisa, and Jeff; several step great grandchildren; step sisters Florence Holding of California, and Delia Kemp of Winnipeg. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Dennis Parkes; second husband Charles Douglas Mitchell; daughter Susan Killam; step daughter Carol Coulter; step mother Irene Keep. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. with visitation on Friday August 11, 2006 from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday August 12, 2006 at 10:00 am with Rev. Shawn Redden officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Orva's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital 4400 Rehab Unit or to 3600 Palliataive Care Unit would be appreciated.
