Dear Doreen, I send my sincere condolences to you after learning of Don passing away. I always looked forward to seeing you and Don at any events you attended at the Museum. It was plain to see that he was a wonderful man and that you both enjoyed a happy, full life by being together. It was so nice to see you both at the Royal Court Christmas bazaar. With caring thoughts and prayers, Dawne McLean
To Doreen, and Don's family and friends - sincere condolences on Don's passing. I (Glen) have known Don for some 53 years. Always such a highly respected member of the Canadian Aviation family. He was loved by all. So sad to hear of his passing. Remember the good times, laughter and Don's love of telling stories. Rest in peace Sir. Godspeed Mr. Don McQuinn . . .
My sympathies to Don’s family. Don was my flying instructor in the mid ‘60’s at McEwens airfield Irishtown road Moncton. Many fond memories of his expertise and mild demeanour as an instructor. I later worked with Don at TCCA. I fine gentleman, he will be sorely missed in the aviation community!
So very sorry to hear of Don passing away. My parents, Ann and John MacLennan, had a connection with Don thru Moncton High School and the Moncton Flying Club. I was also a member of 650 Vanier Air Cadets but that was after Don was commanding officer. Don and Doreen always came into our restaurant (Steves Diner) and Don was so very pleasant. They always had a smile on their face. We looked forward to them coming in every week. Our Deepest Condolences go to Doreen and of course his children and their families.
