*** FUNERAL SERVICE POSTPONED *** Funeral Service for the Late Taun Robertson will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11 AM from St. Paul's United Church, Cleveland Ave. Riverview _____________________ Taun M. Robertson born in Montreal in 1937, died November 23rd in his home in Moncton, New Brunswick, surrounded by family, after a lengthy illness. Taun attended Cedar Park School and then Montreal West High School. He graduated from McGill University in 1960 with a Science degree. After retirement, he returned to study and graduated with honours in History from Mt. Allison University. His love for research and reading eventually led him to write a soon-to-be-published book about his hometown, Pointe Claire, Quebec. His passion for sailing followed him from the Pointe Claire Yacht Club to the RCYC in Toronto, onto fleet captain of Lightnings at Kitsilano Yacht Club in Vancouver and finally to Shediac Bay Yacht Club as commadore, in Shediac, New Brunswick. A wonderful husband to Trudy and father to David (Jessica) and Susan (Tony). He will be sadly missed by his many friends and loved ones. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd.
