Obituary of Norman "Paul" Basque

Paul Basque, 56, of Fairview, PEI and Riverview, NB; passed away suddenly at Saint John Regional Hospital, on Thursday, September 3, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Saint John, NB; he is the son of Phyllis (Nice) Hebert and the late Normand Basque. He was Executive VP of Greystone Energy. Paul was an avid golfer and was a member of Moncton Golf and Country Club and frequently played at Countryview Golf Course on the Island. He loved motor cycling, travelling, cooking, card games and most of all his family. Paul will be remembered for his sense of humour and his caring ways. A loving spouse, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle, he will be sadly missed by Karen Fraser of Fairview, PEI, sons Christopher (Tess) of Grande Digue, NB and Matthew of Riverview; step sons Jason (Sandi) of Covehead, PEI and Kyle (Julia) of Koln, Germany; his mother Phyllis Hebert of Saint John, NB; grandchildren Abby and a grandchild due in February; sister Karen (Danny) LeFort of Saint John; brothers Robert of Toronto and Ronald (Kim) Indian Mountain; as well as several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his father Normand Basque and step father Terrence Hebert. The family will receive relatives and friends at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Sunday September 6, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00pm and 5:00 to 7:00pm, this will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00pm on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home. On Monday, September 7, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00pm the family will be receiving family and friends at the Belvedere Funeral Home, 175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PEI Donations in Paul's memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the　 Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
