Obituary of M. "Elaine" Goguen

M. "Elaine" Goguen, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Born in Springhill, NS September 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Williams) Laurie. Elaine was employed with the Scotia Bank Main Street Branch until her retirement. She was a member of St. Bernard's Parish. Elaine was fun loving and enjoyed a good game of crib, she also enjoyed puzzles. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will also be in the hearts of her children Carol Cormier of Moncton, Michael "Joe" Goguen (Heather) of Riverview and David Goguen (Shelly) of Yarmouth, NS, her adoring grandchildren Alysia Cormier, Mike Goguen and Kristina Cornell (Jason); sisters Patricia of London, On, Debbie of Moncton; brothers Donnie and Jerry of Springhill, NS and Bob of Kingston, ON; also by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald "Gerry" Goguen in 2001 and by a brother Jack. There is no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Private graveside service was held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or the Diabetic Association would be appreciated by her family.
