Obituary of Maureen Edna Mary Mooney
Maureen Mooney, age 67 years of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday June 29th, 2007.
Born in Temiskaming, PQ on August 11th, 1939, Maureen was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Baumann) Mooney.
She was a former office manager and is presently a certified speech reading instructor.
Maureen is a member of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association and a volunteer on the Moncton Hospital Hearing Access Program Committee.
She is survived by her son Robert Edward Perreault of Whitehorse, YT; brother Michael George Mooney and his wife Carole of Arnprior, On; nieces Joanne and Ruby; many friends locally including Linda Turner, Eliz Beckett, Theresa Legere and Rheal Leger; friends in Ontario including Margot Haug, Linda Chandler and Jean Anderchek; also by several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and last but certainly not least her beloved and faithful Hearing Ear Guide Dog "Kobi".
Visitation will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Road on Monday July 2nd, 2007 from 2 to 4pm.
The funeral service and celebration of Maureen's life will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home Monday, July 2, 2007 at 4:00pm with Rev. Shawn Redden officiating.
Donations in Maureen's memory made to the Canadian Hard of Hearing (Moncton Branch) - 283 Chantal St, Dieppe NB E1A 4X8 would be appreciated.
