Obituary of Maureen T. O'Rourke

Maureen O'Rourke, 59 years, of Harcourt, NB; passed away unexpectedly at her residence, on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Born in Oakville, ON she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Ringer) O'Rourke. Maureen enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-her garden, flowers, knitting, quilting and above all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her common law spouse Philip Symes; daughters Misty and her husband Robert Pilgrim of Rothesay, NB, Tara Leet of Harcourt, NB; sons Jason and Jearod Leet both of Burlington, ON, and Justin Leet of Moncton, NB; sisters Dianne Madore, Patricia Langille, Ida Baxter, Sandra Chilvers and Sherry Farley; brothers Burton, Lester, Shawn and Timothy O'Rourke; nine cherished grandchildren Dawna-Joe, Hope, Jayden, Jaxen, Ethan, Jazlyn, Daniella, Connor and Jacob. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:00pm with Pastor Barry Todd officiating. Interment will be in the Anglican Church Cemetery, Harcourt, NB. Donations in Maureen's memory made to your local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
