Obituary of Lyle Ernest Clifton

Lyle E. Clifton of Riverview and formerly of Saint John, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday April 29, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Born in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan on October 7, 1941 he was the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Larson) Clifton. He was a former Master Warrant Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces with 32 years service. He was a member of The Canadian Airforce Police Association; a member of Lakeside Golf Club; and a member of the Global Gym in Riverview. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Gerri 'Tootes' Savoy; daughter Khristie and her husband Rob Morrell of Mississauga ON; grandchildren Nicklaus and Lauren Morrell of Mississauga ON; brothers Dale Clifton (Vivian) of Victoria BC, and Vern Clifton (Pat) of Peers AB; also by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Keith Clifton. There will be no viewing or visitation. The memorial service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday May 3, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating.
