Obituary of Helen Mabel O'Connor

Helen Mabel O'Connor, of Moncton, formerly of Riverview, passed away at her residence, SerenaCare nursing home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 96 years. Born in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva (Stewart) Parsons. She was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Helen was a member of the Trinity United Church, Riverview and was a lifetime member of the UCW. Helen is survived by her daughters Judy Wood (late Grant) of Orleans,ON and Charlene Hudson (Robert) of Fredericton NB; son, Stewart O'Connor (Susan Read) of Sackville, NB; grandchildren, Brent O’Connor (Kim) of Kentville, NS, Andrea Forrest (Brad) of Fall River, NS, and Derrick Hudson (Heather T. Bartlett) of Fredericton NB; great grandchildren Taylor Forrest, Ainsley Forrest, and Timothy O’Connor; sister, Mildred Homer (lateWally) of Riverview; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband King H. O'Connor; brothers, Harold, Armour, Herman and John; sisters, Charlotte and Lula. Private service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the memorial of the donor's choice.
