Obituary of Larry Higgins

Larry Higgins, 63 years, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, September 5, 2014. Born in Toronto, ON he was the son of the late Norman and Margaret (Mappin) Higgins. Larry retired from MacDonald Pontiac Buick after 12 years of working in Night Security and enjoyed 26 years prior working for Midas Canada. Larry enjoyed various sports, he coached little league baseball, hockey and golfed in his spare time. He is survived by his wife Mary M. (Cobb) of Riverview; sons Larry P. of Riverview and Adam (Christine Ross) of Calgary; grandson Brandon of Calgary; close nieces Tracy Higgins and Kelleen Hilwerda both of ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Patricia Flemming; brothers Danny and Michael. Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept 8, 2014 between the hours of 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. William Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery. Donations in Larry's memory made to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated.
