Marjorie Ogburn (nee Molyneaux) of Riverview passed away peacefully in her 85th year at her home in Royal Court, Riverview, NB on August 27, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric Ralph, in May 1988.
Beloved mother of Michael and wife Pam (Riverview), sadly missed by Phillip and Laura (Houston, Texas) Christian, Jordan, Brenda, Fred and Keith (Riverview). Also sadly missed by sister Pat Sinclair, David, Alison, Neil and Colin (Aberfoyle, Scotland).
Marjorie was larger than life and as such deeply touched the lives of her family whom she adored and her many friends in Moncton, Toronto, Victoria and overseas. She served as a WREN in the Royal Navy WWII. Marjorie and her family emigrated to Canada in 1954 and she went on to become an executive with the Robert Simpson Co. (Toronto) and travelled extensively throughout the world procuring silver and antiques for the company. She was one of the first women provided business access to China.
Marjorie enjoyed her home in Royal Court and was active socially and was the residents¹ advocate as president of the Resident¹s Association. The family puppy Russell was the light of her life and a frequent visitor at Royal Court.
In lieu of flowers the family would deeply appreciate gifts to St. George¹s Anglican Church, Moncton, New Brunswick. Please join the family in celebrating Marjorie¹s life on Saturday, September 2, 2006 between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at 509 Blythwood Ave., Riverview. 386-4231.
