Obituary of Wayne Joseph McNeil

Wayne J. McNeil, of Riverview,NB passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 48 years. Born in Cape Breton, NS on January 2, 1960 he was the son of the late William and Lenora (Ryzcak). Wayne was an electrical rewind mechanic with Siemens Company. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and listening to Scottish music. Loving to cook, the table was always set for anyone who stopped by, there was never a hungry belly leaving the McNeil house. Wayne's most precious times were time spent with his family and above all his children. He is survived by his wife Annie (Long) McNeil, daughter Megan McNeil and son Tylor McNeil all of Riverview; sisters Louise (Newt) Springett of London, ON, Francie (Paul) Martin of Mississauga, ON, and Shirley (Wayne) Johnston of Saint John, NB; brothers Cameron (Verna) McNeil and Michael (Joy) McNeil both of Cape Breton, NS; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Paul and Kenny. A celebration of life will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2008 between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
