Obituary of Marjorie H. Rogers

Marjorie H. Rogers, 85, of the Lefurgey Residence in Moncton and formerly of Hillsborough, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2008. Born in Lakeville, NB on March 8, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ada (Lockhart) Terris. Prior to her marriage to Robert, she was employed with Unemployment Insurance. Marjorie was an adherent of St. Johns United Church. A loving and caring mother and grandmother she will be sadly missed by her daughters Sandra Steeves and her husband James of Newmarket ON; and Judy LeBlanc (Kevin Carson) of Moncton; four grandchildren Nathaniel, Aaron, Adam ( Brandie) and Andrea (Matt Belanger); one great grand daughter Mia Belanger; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert "Bob" H. Rogers; sister Irene Humes; her half brother Frank and half sister Flossie Hopper. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, March 13, 2007 from 1:30pm until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jim Alley officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Marjorie's memory made to The Canadian Diabetic Society or to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
