Obituary of Marjorie Mae Rand
The death of Marjorie Mae Rand occurred on November 15th, 2008 at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born on Indian Mountain, she was the eldest daughter of Wilfred and Annie (Randall) Budd.
Marjorie will be sadly missed by her daughters Sheila Finnerty, Cheryl Roediger (Wolfgang), Darlene Rand (Darrell); and sons Bruce, Alan, and Danny; grandchildren Jason, David, Christine, Shawn, Jordan, Cody, and Charles. She is also survived by her loving sister Edna Bagnell (Ainsley); brothers Clarence Budd (Eleanor), Cecil Budd and Winston Budd (Wanda); as well as several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Lance; her brothers Gordon Budd and Clifford Budd.
In her early years, Marjorie was employed by T. Eaton Co. and later by the Moncton Hospital. Marjorie was a kind, caring, and determined woman, who put everyone ahead of herself, especially her family. Mom loved to bake, knit, garden, and enjoyed the life she had at her farm.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Tuesday November 18th, 2008 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, and on Wednesday November 19th, 2008 from 10:00am - 11:00am. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Wednesday November 19th, 2008 at 11:00am with Pastor Doug Steeves officiating.
Burial will take place at the Gladeside Cemetery in Gladeside, NB.
Donations in memory of Marjorie made to the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital "Dialysis Unit", The Gladeside Cemetery, or the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
