Obituary of LeRoy Julien Arsenault

LeRoy Arsenault, age 81 years of Lower Coverdale, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Born in Cascumpec, PEI on April 24th, 1928; he was the son of the late Arthur Milligan and Adeline Arsenault. LeRoy was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Riverview. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. LeRoy spent most of his working years as a mechanic, and later retired from Hub Meat Packers. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Doris Arsenault; daughter LeAnne Larson and her husband Shane of Calgary, Alberta; sisters, Phyllis Milligan of Poplar Grove, PE, Kay McCaull of Eastern Passage, NS; brothers, Lester Milligan (Verna) of Poplar Grove, PE, Keith Peters (Evoila) of Alberton, PE; sister in law, Fran Robertson; also by several nieces, nephews, cousins; and his very special cat, Shadow. Predeceased by his brothers, Arthur Milligan Jr, Francis Weir; and brother in law, Pat McCaull. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home on Friday, October 30th, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Parish Prayers and Sharing of Memories will be at 8:30 from the funeral home. The funeral mass will beheld at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at 10:00 am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. In memory of LeRoy, donations made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated by his family.
